SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

While still attending U.C.L.A. majoring in business and real estate Mr. Mays was hired by R.A. Rowan and Company. After gaining experience in the management, leasing and sales of a variety of properties, he was given the management responsibility for the firm’s biggest account, the seven M.J. Connell multi-story Loft Buildings which were the center of the garment and mercantile Industries between 7th and 8th streets on Los Angles Street and between Los Angeles Street and Santee Street on 8th Street. Mays has successfully represented or negotiated real estate transactions with individual home buyers and investors, as well as, California State Government, U.S. Government, law firms, title companies, associations, and a variety of business ranging from small to large. His Clients and customers have included corporations engaged in diverse fields such as construction, finance, communication, utilities, insurance, oil, banking, metals, schools, aerospace, food, shipping, electronics, and retail. His career also ranges in a wide variety of experience including Executive Vice President of Continental Development Corporation, Vice President of Helmsley- Spear of California, Director of Leasing and Executive Director, Property Management for Tishaman Realty and Construction Co., Inc., Vice President of WM. E. Doud Company Realtors, and Commercial Sales and Leasing Broker for the Frank Dutra Company Realtors. In 1997, Mays moved to Rancho Mirage from the San Francisco Bay area and continued his real estate practice. Since moving to the Palm Springs area Mays has been involved in the management and leasing of Kodash, Inc., of the Indio Fashion Malls and an adjacent strip center prior to the property being sold in November 2003. In November of 2004 Gene Mays joined the REMM Group to head up properties managed in the Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Coachella Valley areas. Mr. May’s extensive real estate experience in a variety of local, regional, and national affiliations has culminated to the apex of his career, which is to represent and serve clients now and in the future renaissance of the Palm Springs, Coachella Valley area. Mr. Mays is responsible for commercial management for The REMM Group in the lower desert.
